Selaku inspektur upacara Kapolres Kawasan Bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai AKBP Ida Ayu Wikarniti, S.E., turut dihadiri pula oleh Wakapolres Kompol I Ketut Darta, S.H.,M.H., para Pejabat Utama Polres Bandara, para Bintara dan Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN).

Peringatan Hari Ibu (PHI) ke-95 kali ini mengangkat tema “Perempuan Berdaya, Indonesia Maju”.
Saat membacakan amanat dari Menteri Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Republik Indonesia (MenPPPA RI), Kapolres AKBP Ida Ayu Wikarniti mengatakan PHI didasari oleh momentum diselenggarakannya Kongres Perempuan Pertama pada 22 Desember 1928 di Yogyakarta, yang merupakan sebuah titik penting pergerakan perempuan yang menandai babak baru bangkitnya gerakan perempuan Indonesia untuk berorganisasi secara demokratis tanpa membedakan agama, etnis, dan kelas sosial.
“Momentum bersejarah ini kemudian ditetapkan sebagai Hari Ibu oleh Presiden Soekarno melalui Keputusan Presiden Nomor 316 Tahun 1959 tentang Hari-Hari Nasional yang Bukan Hari Libur,”ujarnya.
Peringatan Hari Ibu di Indonesia esensinya bukan hanya untuk mengapresiasi jasa besar ibu, yang tentunya juga sungguh istimewa, namun lebih dari itu, untuk mengapresiasi seluruh perempuan Indonesia, atas peran, dedikasi, serta kontribusinya bagi keluarga, masyarakat, bangsa, dan negara.
“Diperingatinya Hari Ibu setiap tahunnya diharapkan dapat menjadi daya ungkit untuk mendorong semua pemangku kepentingan dan masyarakat luas, agar memberikan perhatian dan pengakuan akan pentingnya eksistensi perempuan dalam berbagai sektor pembangunan,”ucap Kapolres Bandara saat membacakan amanat MenPPPA.
